Col Little, S-3 Major Marks. Flag was captured from a VC cache--During
this operation General Wheeler Division CO visited us and his chopper
crashed. He was sent home and medically retired. . Photo

We were west of Danang and are sitting on what we called the Trace.
This was the McNamara defoliated line which was supposed to help us
find VC infiltrators. The front row has all the officers and SNCO's.
Centered is (Capt. Mike StClair CO, to his right (left on the picture)
is 1stLt. "Butch" Cooper XO (with glasses) and to his left
is 1stSgt Slezewsky. To take the photo, we set up security all around
us. Note the twin 40 army vehicle at the top of the hill. This was
resupply day--once a week we got fresh c-rats, mail and ammo. Right
after the photo we scrambled away from each other real fast. Photo
